Mini Island World Workshop
Build Your Mini Radar

Create your own miniature island world using sand, greenery, palm trees, boats, treasure chests and other tiny decorative details.
Design your island your way, from a peaceful tropical beach to a tiny harbour or treasure island. All materials and guidance are provided, and you’ll take your finished miniature creation home with you.
Ages 4–6 are welcome with an accompanying adult. Maximum 6 participants per session.

A fun first step into woodworking. From plank to creation, kids build a robot they can creatively design as they wish.

Electronic SpidyBot
A hands-on introduction to woodworking. Kids build a sturdy wooden truck with personality and functional wheels so they can roll, play with and proudly take their Lamma truck home.
No experience needed. Fully guided in small groups.

What they’ll learn:
Measuring and marking, safe sawing and drilling, assembling moving parts (wheels),
sanding, finishing and decorating.
A creative, hands-on workshop where kids build a wooden robot with an electronic motor that introduces simple electronics in a fun and accessible way. They will bring it to life and even race them at the end.
No experience needed. Fully guided in small groups.

What they’ll learn:
Wood painting and decorating, basic circuitry and battery setup, using glue guns safely, fine motor assembly (screwing parts together), patience and attention to detail.

Digital Electronics
A new hands-on workshop series where young makers explore electronics by building functioning projects they can test, troubleshoot and take home.
No previous experience needed. Each workshop introduces new concepts and skills, with future sessions gradually exploring more advanced electronics.

What they’ll learn:
Basic electricity, voltage and resistance, using a multimeter, circuit wiring, reading wiring diagrams, sensors, motors, displays and troubleshooting.
Selected future workshops may also introduce soldering, microcontrollers and coding.
For young makers who have already tried one of our workshops, or are ready for something more open-ended.
Bring an idea, choose one with us, or develop a project together. We’ll guide the making process from planning and measuring through to cutting, joining, sanding and finishing.

Basic materials and consumables are included. Any specialist timber, hardware or materials needed for a larger project will be discussed and agreed beforehand.

Birthday Workshops
A birthday where they actually make something.
